How does Bioflex THERAPY WORK?
BioFlex Laser Therapy is also known as Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), Cold Laser or Photobiomodulation. This is a light-based technology proven to be highly effective in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems, sports injuries, chronic pain, and wound healing. BioFlex Laser Therapy is an FDA and Health Canada approved technology system that is non-invasive.
Laser Technology uses superluminous and laser diodes to treat diseased or traumatized tissue with photons. These particles of energy are selectively absorbed by the cell membrane and intracellular molecules, initiating a cascade of complex physiological reactions, leading to the restoration of normal cell structure and function. In the short term, the process results in the elimination of symptoms, including pain, and stimulates the body’s immune system response, facilitating natural healing.
Accelerated healing
Pain leads to chronic stress reaction and has a negative impact on our daily lives and quality of life. This includes fatigue, loss of appetite, insomnia, weakness, anxiety, depression, heart related conditions, sedentary lifestyles, social isolation, loss of employment, etc. An increase in our aches, stiffness and soreness can lead us to a splurge in over-the-counter pain medication or even opioids which have many negative side effects. At Natural Skin & Sole Wellness Clinic, we are proud to offer a surgery-free and drug-free alternative to managing certain health conditions. Our BioFlex Laser Therapy offers you the advantage of creating a treatment plan that is unique to your recovery. The science behind Bioflex allows to eliminate pain and inflammation, and to stimulate the body’s immune system response, which facilitates natural healing.

Arthritis and Joint Pain
Arthritis is described as joint inflammation. Normally, our joints are covered and protected by a resilient and smooth elastic tissue called cartilage. This allows our joints to move softly and to absorb shocks from movements such as walking and running. In the case of arthritis, cartilage is broken-down and therefore the joints are stripped from their protective measure. Bones rub together which causes pain and inflammation. BioFlex Laser Therapy offers a non-surgical and drug free alternative to pain management. Our technology uses near infrared to stimulate cellular activity to create energy which increases cellular repair. In response, pain and inflammation are reduced. Our goal is to offer a different treatment option to pain management to help you restore as much of your physical condition as you can. We not only want to alleviate your pain but wish for you to regain your sense of control with your daily activities.
Sport injuries, strains, and sprains
Injuries from muscle strains and sprains can affect the very best of us. Whether you’re a highly trained athlete or not, injuries happen and can affect your ability to get back up to on your feet. These include: slips and falls, prolonged repetitive movement, lifting heavy objects, sports related injuries, etc. The degree of the injury can vary from mild to severe. Muscle and ligament injuries are common incidents in our everyday population. Our BioFlex Laser Therapy stimulates the tissue repair at a cellular level which can accelerate your recovery time. Treatment results are best achieved during the early stages of the injury.
wound healing
Wound care can be complex to manage. Research has shown that laser therapy can be beneficial in the phases of wound healing. Bioflex laser therapy can help reduce inflammation, promote tissue regeneration, improve microcirculation, and increase tissue oxygenation. Laser therapy can be used on chronic, acute, and surgical wounds. Patients who are diabetic or immunosuppressed can be treated with LLLT. Nerve pain and neuropathy
Even today, we cannot fully understand neuropathy. Nerve damage can be related to conditions such as diabetes, surgeries, injuries, and unknown causes. Bioflex laser therapy can help with nerve pain management and the feeling of “pins and needles” in the affected area.
