What is Healite II and how does it work?
The Healite II is a professional-grade LED device developed by Lutronic, delivering precise 830nm near-infrared light deep into tissues. This wavelength accelerates cellular repair, reduces inflammation, and improves circulation leading to faster healing and improved mobility.
Healite II’s LLLT technology stimulates mitochondrial activity, increasing ATP production which is the energy source for cellular repair. It reduces inflammation, enhances microcirculation, and accelerates tissue regeneration.
Delivered by our specially trained Foot Care Nurses, Healite II is now available as part of a personalized treatment plan for lower limb recovery.
What to expect during a treatment
A typical session lasts 15 minutes. You’ll rest comfortably while the LED panel is placed over the treatment area. The light is warm and soothing with no heat, pain, or UV exposure. Many patients feel relaxed after just one session, with cumulative benefits seen through a series of treatments. A series of sessions may be recommended based on the specific condition being treated.

As part of our comprehensive Foot Care Clinic, this appointment includes a personalized consultation and assessment with our Registered Nurse to evaluate your foot health and discuss tailored pain management options. We then apply Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) to reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and support healing.

Coverage may be available with your private insurance company under Nursing Care OR Foot Care offered by a Nurse in Clinic OR Extended Health Spending Account. A receipt with the Nurse’s license # will be provided. This service can also be put towards your income taxes as a medical expense.
